Surfity Morocco is a surf retreat designed to step up your surfing and live the real local life.
Created by Mehdi, a surfer and instructor with over 20 years of experience in the water. Him and his team with help you live like a local and catch the best waves of your life.
From Tangier to the Sahara Mehdi has surfed the waves of Morocco most of his life, whilst also helping thousands catch their first wave. Mehdi has spent the last decade running his own surf school and working with countless surf schools and retreats and is now using his experience to craft the perfect retreat.
Our philosophy is to teach you the real skills and habits that will make sure your first wave is only the beginning. Giving you advice and skills to set you up for a succesful surf journey with a big smile on your face.
Who we are
Mehdi and Philippa met in Imsouane. Mehdi is a local surfer, one of the pioneers of the sport in Morocco and has been surfing up and down the coast from Tangier to the Sahara for the last 20+ years. Philippa is a Creative Director from London, is still learning to surf and had the worst nose dive of her life in the Sahara. But we’re both addicted to the blue.
We’re now married, living with our pup, also from Imsouane, between Morocco and London, hoping to share a bit of the magic.
Where we are
We host our retreats in the South of Morocco, with lots of flight options to the airport of Agadir. Travelling between Tamraght and Imsouane, chasing the best waves.
